American doctor who
survived Ebola returns to Liberia
Rick Sacra is
the name of the doctor whom survived Ebola contracted while taking care of
patients in Liberia. Doctor Sacra had lived in Africa since 1995 to 2010. This
experience has changed him "I think it
makes me more sensitive to where people are coming from and how they might be
feeling and why they might be discouraged," he said. He now think more
about what people are going through and how it feels to be the patient in an area
where the doctors are just a few compared in other places. At some point he thought
that he was going to die, but now he had recover he is going back to Africa
this Thursday to help others.
