Licensed Practical Nurse
Duties
and Responsibilities: takes nurse who cares for people who are sick, injured,
convalescent, or disabled. LPNs used to be under the direction of registered nurses and are now under
physicians.
Salary:$41,540 per year
Education: “LPNs are licensed by the state in
which they practice. To obtain an LPN license, the state may require background
checks and proof of education. Every state administers the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCLEX-PN)
exam, which candidates have to pass to obtain their license.”
Reflection: I would like to be LPN because I
always wanted to work in this type of environment. Also I am interested on
nursing therefor this job seems very appropriate for me.
