How can HIV and AIDS can be transmitted?
Before lest remember that HIV and AIDS are two different decease.HIV is an infection that can lead to more infections and AIDS is a syndrome that attacks the immune system.
Is important to remark that it is completely false that if you have HIV you have AIDS ( yes there is a highly risk of you to get AIDS if you already have HIV because your immune system is weak then you can get AIDS )

HIV/AIDS is mostly an African problem.
There is no hope for those with HIV/AIDS.
If I come out positive there’s nothing I can do.
A cure exists for HIV/AIDS.
Even though there is not cure for this infection there are several treatments that can help HIV positives to have a control over the decease allowing them to live with it.
“More than 1.2 million people in the United States are living with HIV infection, and almost 1 in 7 (14%) are unaware of their infection.”
“Gay, bisexual, and other men who have sex with men (MSMa), particularly young black/African American MSM, are most seriously affected by HIV.” stated a website called Centers For Decease Control and Prevention, HIV in the United States: At A Glance last reviewed: May 11, 2015,website visited May 19, 2015.

A shot to prevent HIV?
“researchers in California also discovered a vaccine that could halt HIV transmission and infection, and could assist those who are already living with the virus.”
“In California, researchers at the Scripps Research Institute in California developed a radical new approach to tackling HIV, whereby they altered the DNA of monkeys to give their cells HIV-fighting properties, which would completely protect them from the virus and the ensuing disease.”
We completely encourage you all to educate yourself more about this virus that is affecting mankind.
There is not a reason why parents should not talk about this.
Teens protect yourself, parents talk to your kids about sex, students ask questions( to your teachers, parents, doctors).
Talking about sex to our generation is crucial everyone should contribute to this educational goal which is to stop spreading the decease.
